This camp is a short drive from Cunnamulla. It is a convenient location to explore the area, including the hot springs. This camping area is basic and will not suit everyone.

Campground Layout and Features

Cunnamulla RV Camping has five closely spaced sites on a gravel area. During our stay, there was a significant amount of grass on the sites.

The sites are flat. The site requirements is that you must setup on the left-hand side of the track. You should park perpendicular to the fence,

On the other side of the road there is a dump point and a rubbish bin. During our visit, the rubbish bin was overflowing. It appears that this is a common state, which is disappointing.

There is a maximum stay of three days at this site.

Cunnamulla RV Camp Location

Cunnamulla RV Camping is a 1.2km drive from Cunnamulla. It is an easy walk, should you be inclined. The map below shows the campground’s location. You can zoom out for a more general location.

What to Watch Out For at Cunnamulla RV Camping

This site appears to be poorly maintained. There is a lot of grass in the area. From the notices in the area, it appears that the site is not yet fully developed. Hopefully, the council will put in some effort to upgrade the site.

While there, the potable water tap was dry. If you need water, there is a tap near the information centre in town. You will need a hose length of more than 10m, as it is off the road a bit.

Be warned that this is not a glamorous site. It is basic and a bit rough.

Final Words

For a short stay, this site is acceptable. If you want something a bit more comfortable, you may like to look elsewhere.

Closeby Campgrounds

If you are travelling to Bollon, you may like to consider staying at Wallam Creek Campground.

For those travelling north, Charleville CMCA Park is a good place to stay.
