Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park

Last Updated on 5 September 2026 by Rob

Yes, it’s a caravan park, but we hadn’t had a bit of ground with lovely grass on it for a long time. Perhaps you will be in the same situation. The caravan park is a great place to relax and enjoy the lovely Eighty Mile Beach. Don’t miss the sunsets.

Campground Layout and Features

The caravan park has 200 sites across a large area. Of those, 150 are powered and 50 are unpowered. They rotate the sites so the grass can be well watered, ensuring you can enjoy the lovely green grass.

As expected, toilets and showers are available at this site. Laundry is available. Rubbish disposal, water and a dump point are also available.

The site has a well-stocked mini-mart if you need any supplies

A powered site here is $71 per night. Unpowered sites are $64 per night. If you book far enough ahead you may get a discount. Rates are significantly reduced during the off-season (from the 12th of October to the 31st of March).

Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park Location

The caravan park is a 242km drive south of Port Hedland and 267km south of Broome. The road is sealed to the turnoff, followed by 9km of unsealed access road. For our visit, the road was in good condition.

Other than the fee, there is not much to be concerned about at this site.

Final Words

We enjoyed our three-night stay. The beach is stunning, and it’s a great place to relax. The grass after months of red dust was wonderful.

Don’t forget to grab a drink when you are heading down the beach for sunset.

You can book online or (08) 9176 5941.

We use this campround for a 2 night stay on our Broome to Exmouth itinerary.
