Tuncurry Sports Club is a small campground located in Tuncurry. It is a good base from which to explore the area and the town. The club provides entertainment and meals at a reasonable price.
The club is also called Sporties Tuncurry.
To stay at Tuncurry Sports Club, you must be self-contained.
Pets are permitted at this campground.

Campground Layout and Features
This facility has about 12 unmarked sites available. The number of sites available depends on how people select their sites. The sites are generally half grass and half gravel. This is because the area is a gravel car park surrounded by a fringe of grass. A few sites at the far end are totally grass. The sites are fairly flat, but some levelling may be required.
All sites are unpowered, and water is not available
Campers are not permitted to use the club’s toilet facilities.
To stay at this site, your RV must have an internal toilet and shower. Tents, roof-top tents and mini-vans are not permitted.
Rubbish bins are provided in the area around the clubhouse.
There is a dump point on the other side of the clubhouse from the camping area. You must drive to get to it.
The cost of a site is $5 per person per night. Once you have set up, you can pay the fees at reception in the clubhouse. At this stage, you will be asked about have a toilet and shower inside of your vehicle.
There is a two-night limit at this campground.

What to Watch Out For at Tuncurry Sports Club Campground
This facility is strict about containment requirements. There are reports of people being refused or evicted from the site because they did not have an internal toilet and/or shower.
Final Words
This is an excellent facility for the price. The meals and drinks at the club are well priced. However, you are not required to use them.
