Woolshed Cave Campground serves as the perfect basecamp for exploring one of the Eyre Peninsula’s most photographed natural wonders. Tucked into the rugged Talia Caves coastline, this compact, off-grid site puts you within walking distance of the massive honeycombed cavern that gives the area its name. It’s an immersive “clifftop” experience where the thunder of the Southern Ocean provides a constant soundtrack, making it a favourite for photographers and adventurers who want to catch the golden hour light on the limestone cliffs without a long drive back to town.

You must be fully self-sufficient, as no facilities are provided.
Pets are permitted at this site.

Tents are permitted.
Fires are permitted outside of fire restriction periods.

The campground has 9 allocated sites. The area is flat and on a limestone base. The sites range from small (site 4) to medium (sites 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8) to large (sites 6, 7, and 9). Obviously, the larger sites will be more in demand, so try to book a bit ahead of time to secure your site.
There are no facilities at this site, so you must be self-sufficient. Take all your rubbish when you leave.
The fee to stay at this camp is $10 per night and must be booked online. Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is at midday. The maximum stay is two weeks.
You should book prior to travelling to the site if you rely on mobile internet, as coverage is limited.

What to Watch Out For at Woolshed Cave Campground
We did not find any issues with this campground. It is a bit exposed, so windy conditions may not be fun.
