Forrest Beach RV Site

Last Updated on 1 August 2026 by Rob

If you are looking for a coastal escape that trades the hustle of the Bruce Highway for absolute beachfront peace, Forrest Beach RV Park is a top-tier North Queensland find. Located just 20 km east of Ingham, this council-run site offers wide, grassy spots right behind the dunes, providing an unbeatable front-row seat to the Coral Sea and the distant silhouette of Orpheus Island. It’s the kind of place where you can unhitch the caravan and go about doing very little. Whether you’re using it as a base to explore the nearby Hinchinbrook region or just looking for a spot where the sunrise hits your caravan door, Forrest Beach delivers that quintessential “slow-lane” tropical vibe.
