Alex Trevallion Park is located a short distance from the town of Walgett. It is a convenient location to explore the town and the surrounding area. The camping area is a small area on the edge of town and is ran by the Rotary Club.
To stay at this site there is no need to be self-contained as toilets and showers are provided.
Tents are not permitted.

Campground Layout and Features
The campground has 12 sites available. The sites are on a dirt base arranged around a loop road. The area is flat, and the sites are large enough to remain hitched up.
The area has a small amount of shade.
Close to the camping, there is a small block of unisex toilets and showers in individual rooms. Water, a dump point and rubbish bins are provided for campers. Also offered are BBQs, a shelter and information boards.
A bin for deposit drink containers provides the Rotary Club with some funds.
The maximum stay at this campground is seven days.

This site can get very busy. If you plan to stay, it’s a good idea to arrive early.
Final Words
Even though this site is quite close to the road, we found that it was quiet at night. If you are planning on staying in this area, we recommend this site.

If you are travelling south to Cobar, you may like to consider staying at Reba Park Campground.
For those heading north to Lightning Lorne Station Caravan Park is a great option for camping.
